Ideas gain value when they're shared. Below is a growing list of projects and startup concepts I’ve brainstormed. Are they viable? Promising? That’s for us to find out. Whether you’re a builder, dreamer, or curious reader, I hope this catalog sparks something in you. Pick one—and run with it.

  1. journal.me: Like BeReal, but for journaling. Prompts provoke meaningful responses, which power an AI-generated “digital brain” friends can query.

    • Profile feed shows questions & brain’s answers
    • Public/private prompt toggle
    • Public entries can be liked, commented, and shared

  2. Second Brain: A clean, minimal note-taking app with tag-based organization and lightning-fast retrieval.

  3. Podsum: Scrapes YouTube for new podcast uploads from selected channels. Summarizes key takeaways with NLP. Sends updates via a clean web UI and optional SMS alerts.

  4. Resume Fitter: Feed a neural net your experiences, and it generates resume variants for specific roles. Could optionally apply on your behalf.

  5. Fan Connect: Connect fans to creators in a private, managed queue. Fans “line up,” and creators decide how long chats last and when to engage.

  6. Meetup: Group members enter their locations, and the app chooses an ideal midpoint for meeting.

  7. Smokey: A “smokescreen” website with deep campaign analytics. Tracks engagement and surfaces trend insights.

  8. LLM-Powered Personal DB: ❗ Needs clarification: Possibly a smart, queryable memory assistant backed by a local or cloud-based LLM.

  9. LLM Clip Splicer + Editor: ❗ Needs clarification: AI analyzes raw or long-form video and generates coherent clips automatically.

  10. LLM Resume Reviewer: AI reviews resumes using learned patterns from a growing data corpus. Improves over time.

  11. Task Estimator: Predicts task durations using an AI model trained on historical task metadata.

  12. Scheduled: A hybrid calendar + to-do list with a clean UX and smarter daily planning.

  13. Better OA: Trains LLMs on a codebase to generate high-quality, role-specific LeetCode-style questions for recruiting.

  14. TopHat Automation: Reverse-engineers and automates TopHat quizzes using the OpenAI API.

  15. YouTube → Book Recommendations: Analyzes your watch history to recommend relevant books.

  16. YouTube Watch Insights: Surfaces your viewing patterns, themes, and shifts over time.

  17. AI Gym Trainer: AI-powered feedback, training plans, and form analysis.

  18. Trip Planner AI: Finds the cheapest and best options for flights + accommodations, and generates a full itinerary.

  19. AI File Explorer: Vector store-powered file search that understands document meaning, not just keywords.

  20. Restaurant Recommender: Context-aware restaurant suggestions based on past behavior, preferences, or friend recs.

  21. Things to Do App: Suggests local activities and events based on your mood, time, and interests.

  22. Event+: Event planner with RSVP, polls, and embedded social tools.

  23. Proximity Social App: Spontaneous meetups with users nearby.

  24. Weightlifting App: AI-based form checks, insights, and progressive overload tracking.

  25. NFC Business Card App: Tap to instantly share professional contact info.

  26. Autonomous Robot OS: Framework for autonomous navigation and task logic.

  27. NIL Matchmaker: Helps student-athletes discover NIL deals. Connects them with aligned brands.

  28. High-Protein Meals App: Suggests easy, customizable meals with macros and protein focus.

  29. Offline Messenger: Proximity messaging via Bluetooth/Wi-Fi, no cell service needed.

  30. Trend Prediction Site: Scrapes media patterns to forecast rising trends.

  34. Manager Ops Tool: Helps managers with surveys, task tracking, messaging, and documentation.

  35. Outfit Picker: Aggregates and suggests outfit combos across fashion retailers.

  36. College Search + Feedback: Find schools based on student-generated reviews and connect with current students.

  37. AI Financial Advisor: Helps you build a plan based on market conditions, risk profile, and goals.

  38. Parlay Generator: Creates sports betting parlays with AI-estimated success probabilities.

  40. Video Archive Lookup: Tags and embeds searchable metadata into video archives. Could include RAG-style lookup.

  41. DBML to Implementation Tool: Translates DBML into working DBs with update support and tooling.

  42. Prompt Engineering Duolingo: Teaches prompt engineering and LLM concepts in a gamified, approachable way.

  43. Decentralized AI Knowledge Base: Indexes your LLM conversations into a private or tokenized knowledge repo. Could use ZK and blockchain.
